A delicious lunch will be served at Wangkha before you reach the postcard-perfect Thimphu. After checking into your hotel, you’ll enjoy a free evening soaking in the colors of the city. Today we will discover all about the heart of Thimphu. After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, we will begin our journey with a visit to the majestic Great Buddha Dordenma, a towering statue set against the tranquil mountains, radiating peace and calm. A delicious Indian lunch will fuel our energy before we dive deeper into Bhutanese culture at the National Memorial Chorten, one of the most revered landmarks in the city. Our day will continue with a breathtaking stop at Sangaygang View Point, where the capital city unfolds in a stunning panorama. Then, we will explore the grand Tashichho Dzong—an iconic example of Bhutanese architecture that draws travelers from around the globe. As the sun sets, we will wander through local markets for a delightful shopping experience, collecting souvenirs and memories. The day will wrap up with a warm dinner alongside fellow travelers, sharing stories before retreating for a restful night.

Punakha

Our morning will begin with a delightful early breakfast, fueling us for the journey ahead. As we bid farewell to Thimphu, our hearts will carry the memories as we travel toward picture-perfect Punakha—the former capital nestled amidst the majestic Himalayan ranges. We will pass through the scenic Dochu La Pass, where the sight of snow-capped peaks like Gangkar Phunsum will leave us awestruck. By lunchtime, we will check into our charming hotel in Punakha.After savoring a delicious meal and taking a short rest, we’ll be ready to explore. Wandering through the rocky streets of this historic town, we will feel the pulse of Bhutanese culture and histories all around us. The mesmerizing Punakha Dzong, standing tall at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, will capture our senses. As twilight sets in, we’ll gather for a relaxed evening with coffee, snacks, and warm conversations before enjoying a hearty dinner to end the day.

Paro

A beautiful morning and a warm Indian breakfast will set the perfect tone for the day as we leave behind the charming memories of Punakha and step into the next chapter of our Bhutan journey. The road ahead will take us to Paro—a picturesque town nestled in the embrace of the mighty Himalayas. Along the way, we’ll explore the wild beauty of Jigme Dorji National Park and stop at the culturally rich Tachog Lhakhang, diving deeper into the soul of Bhutanese tradition. As midday arrives, we’ll pause for a riverside lunch, surrounded by nature’s romance, fueling our spirit for the stunning sights ahead. The peaceful Paro River, winding gently through the valley, will greet us as we reach our destination. With kind-hearted locals, vibrant traditional dresses, timeless heritage buildings, and breathtaking scenery—Paro will feel like a living poem. Our evening will unfold gently with soft Bhutanese tunes in the background and heartfelt conversations among travelmates and end with a delightful dinner rich in authentic Bhutanese flavours.

Paro

We will begin our day gently surrounded by nature’s peaceful charm, enjoying a slow and cozy breakfast while soaking in the tranquil vibes of Bhutan. Afterward, we will set out on foot for a gentle walk through the charming streets of Paro, a town rich in history and heritage. The day will soon unfold into an unforgettable adventure as we embark on an exciting guided hike to the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery. With each step along the mountain path, we will be embraced by pristine air, fluttering prayer flags, and the spiritual rhythm of Bhutan. At the top, we will witness the iconic monastery clinging to the cliffside—an awe-inspiring sight that will take our breath away. Following a hearty lunch break, we will journey to the sacred Dungtse Lhakhang and explore Ta Dzong, where ancient stories and Bhutanese spirituality come alive through murals and relics. As twilight casts a golden hue over Paro, we will spend our last evening in Bhutan with our loved ones, reflecting on the soul-stirring moments we've shared. The day will end with a joyful gala dinner at our hotel, a perfect celebration of our journey through the Land of the Thunder Dragon.

Gorumara National Park ( India )

We will begin our early journey back toward India, our hearts heavy yet full of joy from the soulful days spent in Bhutan. As we cross the border, the beautiful moments of Bhutan—the prayer flags fluttering in the breeze, the peaceful monasteries, and the smiling faces—will accompany us like a gentle echo. By afternoon, we will arrive at our final destination, nestled in the wild charm of Gorumara National Park, set at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas. Our lunch will be served amidst the greenery—a scenic spot where the aroma of the delicious meal will blend with the earthy scent of the forest. This will ignite our excitement as we move toward the Murti River, where nature paints its most enchanting scenes. The gentle river, the rustling leaves, and the untouched wilderness will leave us breathless. As the sun dips behind the trees, we will gather around a warm campfire, the glowing flames reflecting in our eyes. A smoky barbecue dinner will follow, the perfect ending to our journey. Under the starry sky, we will share laughter, stories, and memories, cherishing every bit of the bond we formed during this unforgettable tour.

Depature
