Upon your arrival at Colombo Airport, the Wonder Vision Team will warmly welcome you. A short, relaxing drive will take us to Negombo—a charming beach town with golden sands and colonial tales. After lunch, we’ll explore this vibrant coastal city, known as “Little Rome” for its rich Catholic heritage and colonial roots. Walking past Dutch canals, old churches, and Portuguese buildings, we’ll uncover stories from its fascinating past. Negombo is perfect for water sports lovers and cultural explorers alike. A peaceful afternoon awaits as we stroll along canals leading to a lagoon teeming with marine life, where fishermen have long harvested crabs and prawns. We'll end the day with a beach walk and visit the colorful local fish market. As the sun sets, a cool Indian Ocean breeze sets the tone for a restful evening, followed by a hearty dinner with our fellow travellers—ready for an early start tomorrow.

Kandy

After a delicious breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka, nestled between three majestic mountain ranges. Along the way, we’ll stop at the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a heart-warming sanctuary for rescued elephants. By midday, we’ll check into our hotel and enjoy a refreshing lunch before setting out to explore the sacred city. Our afternoon begins with a peaceful stroll through the lush Royal Botanical Gardens—one of the most beautiful in Asia. As we walk through the lively streets of Kandy, we’ll soak in its vibrant culture and deep-rooted history. Kandy, once a natural stronghold against invaders, now proudly stands as one of Sri Lanka’s top attractions. We’ll visit its spiritual heart, the Temple of the Tooth, resting beside a serene lake. Said to house a sacred tooth relic of the Buddha, this temple is a deeply revered site, where early morning rituals still draw devoted pilgrims dressed in white. Inside the temple complex, intricate paintings and carvings bring Buddhist stories to life. As evening falls we’ll unwind at leisure, then gather around the dinner table to share stories and laughter from a truly enriching day.

Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, we’ll begin a romantic drive into Sri Lanka’s scenic tea country. The road winds through emerald hills and endless tea gardens, leading us to the charming town of Nuwara Eliya, with a quick photo stop at the stunning Ramboda Waterfalls along the way. Known as "Little England," this highland town offers cool, misty air, blooming flowers, and world-class teas. Once a British colonial retreat, it still holds onto its old-world charm with horse racing tracks and the historic Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, established in 1889. Our afternoon will be spent exploring this picturesque town—from the serene Nanu Oya Waterfalls and colorful Hakgala Botanical Garden to the peaceful Gregory Lake and well maintained Victoria Park. As the sun sets, we’ll unwind in the tranquil beauty of Sri Lanka’s hill country. A delicious supper and a restful night will refresh us perfectly for the adventures awaiting us across this tropical wonderland.

Bentota

We’ll start our day early, energized by a delicious breakfast before setting off towards our next destination—Bentota. On the way, we’ll stop at the historic city of Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that beautifully preserves its ancient and colonial charm. As we walk through the iconic walled city, dating back to the early 16th century, we’ll uncover the legacies left behind by the Portuguese and Dutch. The 300-year-old Dutch Fort, still vibrant and untouched by modern skyscrapers, stands as a timeless symbol of Galle’s rich history. After this cultural dive, our journey resumes along the scenic coastline until we reach Bentota—Sri Lanka’s true tropical gem on the southwest shore. Following a hearty and refreshing lunch, we’ll venture out on a serene river safari through the tranquil waters of the Bentota River. As the sun begins to set, the evening is ours to enjoy. A leisurely stroll along the golden sands and calm waves awaits. We'll embrace a peaceful, picture-perfect evening at our beachside resort, unwinding before gathering with our travel companions for a delightful dinner.

Colombo

Today, we embark on a fascinating journey through the vibrant capital of this island paradise. As we explore Colombo, we’ll immerse ourselves in its rich cultural fabric, wander through its bustling streets, hunt for our choices in lively bargain markets, and pause to absorb the rising rhythm of its modern urban life. Our half-day city tour unfolds with visits to some of Colombo’s iconic landmarks—the serene Gangarama Seema Malakaya, the insightful National Museum, the historic Old Parliament, and the elegant Independence Memorial Arcade and Square. We’ll stroll by the peaceful Beira Lake, admire the lush Cinnamon Gardens, and marvel at the lighthouse, Clock Tower and the Colombo Harbor—each spot whispering stories of the city’s past and present. As the evening sets in the time is yours to relax or explore at your own pace. Later, we’ll come together for a heartfelt dinner, sharing laughter and stories from what has truly been an enriching final day in Sri Lanka.

Departure

We will share our final breakfast with our travel companions, bidding farewell to each with warm smiles as this magical journey draws to a close and a new one awaits on the horizon. A short drive to the airport will be filled with the gentle joy of reliving blissful memories, carrying them home for a happy return.
