Day 1
Samburu

As soon as you arrive at Nairobi Airport (NBO), the Wonder Vision Team will be there to warmly welcome you. With excitement in the air, your much-awaited dream journey begins with a scenic drive towards the breathtaking Samburu National Reserve. The journey winds through beautiful farmlands, where lush green tea, coffee, and sisal plantations stretch as far as the eye can see. Along the way, we pause for a comfort break and a photo stop—an unforgettable opportunity to admire the majestic, snowcapped peaks of Mount Kenya. As we cross into the northern hemisphere, the landscape begins to change, signaling our entry into the wild heart of Isiolo Countries and Samburu, a less visited forest region of Northern Kenya comprising of exotic landscapes and wildlife. It is the set of classic nature story ‘Born Free’. It was the playfield of lioness Elsa and Joy Adamson. After a refreshing late lunch at our lodge, the thrill continues with our first evening game drive. The day ends with a peaceful evening, hearts full and minds alive with the memories of our very first wild expedition.

Day 2
Samburu

After a delicious breakfast, we set off with excitement in our hearts, ready to uncover the wild wonders of the Samburu National Reserve. This rugged and breathtaking landscape, shaped by the flowing Ewaso Ng'iro River, stretched before us like a scene from a nature documentary. Located north of the equator, Samburu is home to some of Africa’s most unique and rare wildlife — the elegant oryx, the long-necked gerenuk, the vibrant Somali ostrich, the majestic grevy’s zebra, and the beautifully patterned reticulated giraffe. It’s a paradise for nature lovers and aspiring wildlife photographers alike. As the midday sun began to blaze overhead, we paused for a leisurely lunch and a bit of rest, letting the heat pass before venturing out once again. This time, our journey took us through the neighboring Buffalo Springs National Park for yet another thrilling game drive. As the golden hues of evening settled in, we were welcomed by the warm smiles of the traditional Samburu people — famously known as the “Butterfly People” for their colorful attire and graceful way of life. With a culture deeply rooted in ancient traditions, their presence added a soulful charm to our day of adventure. The day drew to a close with a hearty dinner under the starlit sky, followed by peaceful slumber — our dreams filled with the promise of more adventures awaiting us at sunrise.

Day 3
Ol Pejeta

After an early breakfast, our journey will start. We’ll hit the road towards the north to reach the spectacular Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Enroute we will pause for a short photostop at Nanyuki town, a place famously known for the Equator Marker—a unique spot where we will literally stand between the northern and southern hemispheres. By early midday, we will arrive at our hotel in Nanyuki just in time for a delicious lunch. After a short rest, we will set out on an exciting afternoon game drive. Sprawled across 90,000 acres at the foothills of the Aberdare Mountains and Mount Kenya, Ol Pejeta is not only serve as a conservancy for wildlife but also stand as one of Africa’s most important rhino strongholds. It is the home to the famed Big Five animals, a remarkable density of predators, and even a dedicated chimpanzee sanctuary—making it a true haven for animal lovers. As the sun dips below the horizon, the cool evening will bring us together around the campfire. We will share stories, laughter, and reflections on the day’s incredible sightings, deepening our connection with both nature and each other.

Day 4
Nakuru

On a bright morning ahead, our group will bid farewell to Sweetwaters after breakfast and set off for the scenic Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way, we’ll pause briefly at the serene Lake Elementaita for a delightful photowalk, capturing moments amidst nature’s calm. The journey will then continue with a charming drive to Nakuru, where a delicious lunch will await. Later in the afternoon, there may be an optional adventure—an enchanting pink flamingo trail at Lake Bogoria, offering glimpses of vibrant birdlife. As evening falls, the group will gather in a peaceful setting, sharing reflections of the day’s lakeside explorations, the mesmerizing bird sightings, and the unforgettable hues of colourful wings

Day 5
Maasai Mara

The day will unfold with excitement and adventure. We will begin early in the morning with a thrilling game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. This remarkable park, known not only for the Big Five and the rare Rothschild giraffe, will captivate us with its rich biodiversity and mystical atmosphere—truly setting it apart from other East African parks. Our journey will then lead us towards the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, passing through the lively town of Narok. This will mark the final jungle destination of our unforgettable Kenya tour. Upon reaching, we’ll enjoy a late lunch before setting out for a Maasai village trail. There, we will witness the traditional Maasai way of life and immerse ourselves in the energy of their world-famous dance. As the sun sets and the anticipation of the next day’s Maasai Mara safari builds, we will have an early supper and retire to bed, resting for the life-changing experience that awaits us.

Day 6
Maasai Mara

Our day will start before dawn, with an early wake-up call and the comforting warmth of a hot cup of coffee. As the sky still lay under the blanket of night, we’ll set out on our sunrise game drive, eager to catch the first stirrings of the wild. The Maasai Mara is just beginning to awaken, and we’re on the trail of the Big Five. ​ It will not be a rare scene where we may find a pride of lion enjoying their final phase of family feast lazily with their last night prey and the hyenas, black backed jackals, white backed vultures and marabou storks are patiently waiting a bit away from the big cats for carcass. You’ll be speechless with the spectacular sunrise over the rolling hills of central Maasai Mara zone. The mighty riverscape of Mara, Talek and Olare Orok offers a stunning colourful canvas of a nature portrait. Our adventurous wild journey will continue after a short comfort break as we return back to our lodge for a quick breakfast. Now the safari mode is activated again, as we are ready for our next level of experience amidst the wild with our packed lunch. Maasai Mara is a heaven for wildlife lovers. From big five to smaller ones or cute to ugly ones, it is the playfield of the exotic wildlife amidst the wilderness. If luck favours you may see the wild beast migration down the Mara Triangle. The dramatic change of the colors of the sky during the sunset over the Maasai Mara plains will certainly make you feel aesthetic and nostalgic. The evening air will be field with the unforgettable stories of Maasai Mara diary with the travel buddies.

Day 7
Nairobi

After enjoying a lazy breakfast, we will begin our journey back to Nairobi. As we drive through the scenic landscapes one last time, we will bid farewell to this incredible Kenya adventure. With hearts full of unforgettable memories and the magic of ever-calling Kenya, we will return to our hotel in Nairobi, carrying with us stories that will last a lifetime.

Samburu National Reserve

Samburu National Reserve presents a stunning contrast of palm groves and riverine forests set against an arid, rugged landscape in northern Kenya. We aim to operate every tour you book. However, if a tour receives low bookings, we may merge it with another or offer you an alternative tour. You can also choose our customized tours, though they won't include services like a group leader, games, meals, and other group activities.

Yes, we will provide a leave travel certificate, subject to your prior intimation and requirements during tour booking.

Will there be any night journey on the tour?

We usually avoid night journeys by flight or train whenever possible.

Will the tour be highly hectic such as waking up early in the morning and walking for hours?

We offer various tour plans tailored to your preferred travel pace, mostly ranging from moderate to fast, as we aim to cover all major attractions. Expect some walking at airports, amusement parks, and other sites, based on distance. Our tour leader from Wonder Vision will keep you informed. We generally follow a 6-7-8 schedule (wake up at 6 AM, breakfast at 7, departure at 8). For Indian tours, we follow a 7-8-9 schedule. Any changes to this routine will be communicated in advance by the tour leader.

What will happen if I get late and miss a certain part of the tour?

Please be punctual when traveling in a group to avoid missing any part of the tour. Follow the tour leader's instructions carefully. If you miss any activity due to late arrival, no refund will be provided.

Will Wonder Vision provide drinking water at the time of sight-seeing?

If tap water is safe, Wonder Vision won't provide drinking water. However, in places where it's unsafe, we will supply safe drinking water as noted in the itinerary.

What help will I get if I fall sick and discontinue the tour?

If you fall ill during the tour, inform the tour leader immediately. They will help arrange medical care, but treatment costs must be borne by you. Therefore, Wonder Vision strongly recommends that you and your family have proper insurance before the tour.

Will I get medications on the world tour?

Yes, you’ll get medicine during the world tour, but a doctor’s prescription is required. At Wonder Vision, we recommend carrying enough medication and packing it in separate bags. This ensures easy access in case of baggage delay or loss.

Is passport mandatory for travelling?

Yes, in the case of International Travel, a passport is a must.

What is a visa and how will I get it?

The full form of VISA is Visitors Intending to Stay Abroad. It is an official permission granted by the consulate or high commission of the destination country. A personal interview may be required. Wonder Vision will assist with the visa application, but the facilitation charge is not included in the tour price.

What are the chances of obtaining a visa?

We only help fill out the visa application form. Approval is solely up to the respective country's embassy or consulate.
