As we ascend higher into the mountains, the cool breeze and spectacular views will make the journey even more memorable. By late afternoon, we will arrive in the beautiful hill city of Gangtok. After checking into your comfortable hotel, you may relax and freshen up. As evening approaches, you will have the freedom to stroll through the lively MG Marg on your own. You will enjoy its vibrant cafés, souvenir shops, colorful streets, and cheerful atmosphere while soaking in the charm of Sikkim's capital. Into the Heart of North Sikkim

After enjoying a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, we will begin one of the most scenic drives of your journey towards the beautiful mountain village of Lachung. As we travel deeper into North Sikkim, the mesmerizing Teesta River will remain your constant companion, flowing gracefully beside the winding mountain roads. Passing through the picturesque town of Mangan, charming villages, cascading waterfalls, lush forests, and dramatic valleys, every turn will reveal a new masterpiece crafted by nature. By afternoon, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our drive towards Chungthang, a historically and spiritually significant town where the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers unite to form the mighty Teesta River. From Chungthang, we will gradually ascend through magnificent Himalayan landscapes until we reach the peaceful village of Lachung, nestled amidst towering snow-covered mountains. After checking into the hotel, you may relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings while the soothing sound of the Lachung River flows nearby. In the evening, a warm dinner will be served at the hotel before we retire for a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by the serene Himalayan wilderness.

The Valley of Flowers

Today will surely become one of the most memorable highlights of your North Sikkim adventure. After an early breakfast at the hotel, we will set out for the breathtaking Yumthang Valley, popularly known as the "Valley of Flowers." As we drive through alpine forests, charming mountain landscapes, and crystal-clear streams, the magnificent Himalayan scenery will continue to amaze you. During the blooming season, the valley will transform into a colorful paradise carpeted with vibrant rhododendrons, primulas, and numerous Himalayan wildflowers. The snow-clad peaks surrounding the valley, the gentle flow of the Lachung River, and the refreshing mountain breeze will create an unforgettable experience. Continuing further, we will visit the spectacular Yumesamdong (Zero Point), situated close to the Indo-China border. Return to Gangtok

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will bid farewell to the beautiful village of Lachung and begin our scenic return journey towards Gangtok. Once again, we will travel through magnificent mountain roads, charming villages, sparkling waterfalls, and lush forests while enjoying the ever-changing Himalayan landscapes. A delicious lunch will be served at a restaurant during the journey before we continue our drive. Upon reaching Gangtok, we will visit the peaceful Tashi View Point, one of the city's most beautiful viewpoints. If the weather remains clear, you will be rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of the majestic Kanchenjunga mountain range and the surrounding Himalayan valleys. Afterwards, we will check into our hotel. During the evening, you will once again have the opportunity to explore the lively MG Marg at your own pace. You may enjoy shopping for local handicrafts, tasting authentic Sikkimese delicacies, or simply relaxing amidst the vibrant atmosphere. Later, we will return to the hotel where a delightful dinner will be served before enjoying our final overnight stay in Gangtok.

Farewell Sikkim

Our memorable Himalayan journey will begin its final chapter after enjoying breakfast at the hotel. After checking out, we will visit the world-renowned Rumtek Monastery, one of the most significant Buddhist monasteries in Sikkim. Here, you will experience an atmosphere of peace, spirituality, colorful prayer flags, sacred murals, and magnificent monastery architecture nestled amidst the Himalayan hills. We will then continue our journey towards Siliguri. En route, we will stop at the scenic Teesta Bazaar, where you may relax with a refreshing cup of hot tea and delicious snacks while enjoying the soothing beauty of the flowing Teesta River. It will be the perfect moment to reflect upon the unforgettable memories you have created throughout this incredible North Sikkim adventure. Finally, we will continue our drive to Siliguri, where our wonderful journey together will come to an end.
