A refreshing mountain morning will welcome you as we begin the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel. Energized for the day, we will set out to explore the many attractions that make Shillong one of Northeast India's most beloved destinations. Our sightseeing will begin with the spectacular Elephant Falls, where crystal-clear water cascades gracefully through three picturesque tiers amidst dense greenery. We will then ascend to the famous Shillong Peak, the highest point in the city, from where you will enjoy panoramic views of Shillong, the surrounding valleys, and distant rolling hills. The journey will continue to the fascinating Don Bosco Museum, offering a wonderful insight into the diverse cultures, traditions, and lifestyles of Northeast India. Later, we will enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to the peaceful Ward's Lake, where colorful gardens, charming bridges, and calm waters create a relaxing atmosphere. Our final destination for the day will be the beautifully landscaped Lady Hydari Park, admired for its colorful flowers, manicured lawns, and tranquil surroundings. As the evening sets in, we will return to our hotel. A comforting dinner will be served at the hotel, allowing you to unwind while reflecting on the wonderful experiences of the day before enjoying a peaceful overnight stay.

From Shillong to Cherrapunji

After enjoying a wholesome breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and begin one of the most exciting days of our Meghalaya expedition. Our journey will lead you towards the enchanting landscapes of Cherrapunji, passing through some of the most beautiful villages and valleys in the region. Our first major stop will be Mawlynnong, proudly known as the cleanest village in Asia. As we stroll through its spotless pathways decorated with flowering plants and bamboo fences, you will experience the remarkable harmony between nature and community life. We will then continue towards the picturesque border town of Dawki, where the mesmerizing Umngot River will amaze you with its crystal-clear emerald waters that create the magical illusion of boats floating in the air. Following a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, we will proceed towards one of Meghalaya's most iconic natural wonders—the legendary Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Trekking through dense forests, charming Khasi villages, and natural stone pathways, you will witness the incredible engineering of nature where living tree roots have formed a magnificent double-level bridge over the flowing stream. After completing this memorable adventure, we will drive to Cherrapunji. Upon arrival, we will check into our hotel, where a delicious dinner will be served. Surrounded by mist-covered hills and the soothing sounds of nature, you will enjoy a restful night in one of Meghalaya's most scenic destinations.

Cherrapunji – Full day tour

The fresh mountain breeze will greet you as we begin the morning with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore the spectacular natural treasures of Cherrapunji. Our adventure will begin with the breathtaking Wei Sawdong Falls, famous for its stunning three-tiered turquoise pools surrounded by dense forests. The rewarding walk to the viewpoint will present unforgettable scenery that you will cherish forever. Next, we will visit the majestic Noh Ka Likai Falls, India's tallest plunge waterfall, where powerful streams descend dramatically into a deep emerald pool far below. We will then proceed to the fascinating Arwah Caves, where ancient limestone formations, fossil remains, and naturally sculpted chambers will transport you into a magical underground world. After enjoying a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant, we will continue our journey towards the enchanting Rainbow Falls. The scenic trek through forests, streams, and suspension bridges will reward you with one of Meghalaya's most beautiful waterfalls, where sunlight often creates a vibrant rainbow across the cascading water. As evening approaches, we will return to our hotel in Cherrapunji. A warm dinner at the hotel will conclude another unforgettable day filled with breathtaking landscapes and memorable experiences before you enjoy a peaceful overnight stay.

Farewell to the Hills

After a satisfying breakfast at the hotel, we will check out and begin our scenic drive back towards Guwahati. As we descend from the misty hills into the plains of Assam, you will once again admire the ever-changing landscapes that have made this journey so memorable. Along the way, we will stop for a delightful lunch at a restaurant before continuing to the peaceful Vashisth Ashram, one of Guwahati's most revered spiritual destinations. Surrounded by lush greenery and flowing natural streams, this sacred place will offer a calm and refreshing atmosphere where you can spend some quiet moments amidst nature and spirituality. Later in the evening, we will reach Guwahati and assist you with your hotel check-in. A delicious dinner will be served at the hotel, allowing you to relax comfortably while reminiscing about the unforgettable moments you have experienced throughout Meghalaya. Your final overnight stay will be at the hotel in Guwahati.

Divine Blessings at Kamakhya Temple & Happy Return

Your final morning of the tour will begin with a refreshing breakfast at the hotel.
